Summary
The group met to continue defining focus and to establish practical, procedural and systematic processes for meetings. All attending agreed the MCN will make decisions based on the needs from current group members and address changes when needed in the future.
A suggestions was made to have monthly speaker who could clarify critical unemployment and job search questions regarding Unemployment Insurance Benefits and Stimulus package details.

Information Sought:
- Clarify the details in Unemployment Insurance benefit in regard to severance pay, continuation pay and others
- Obtain information about new training needs, job posting, resume submit, and recruiters’ contacts to assist our group for job searching
Suggestions
- Plan to have monthly speaker - Carolyn
- Invite WorkForce One to explain the UI benefit and Q&A
- Invite Chamber of Commerce to share the potential employers, stimulus plan details relevant to us
- Greg has the Elkhart contact; we need South Bend or St. Joseph County’s contacts
